Hi there! My name is Emma Riley and I’m an artist working out of Grand Rapids, MI. I am currently the Artist-in-Residence at the creative studio, The Moon, in Grand Rapids. NONSENSE is my unofficial artist business where I make work that is engaging, interactive, and just plain fun. I strive to make pieces that my audiences will think, laugh, and/ or talk about after their visit.
During the middle of COVID-19, I picked up a stray cat off my street and she’s been my little friend ever since. I live with my cat, Havana, and my roommate and her cat and two dogs. Originally from Lansing, MI, I moved to GR to attend Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University. Graduating with honors in 2020, I’ve been living the artist life spending my free time making art, watching movies, and living life.
